Our sweet 6 yr old German shepherd Benny boy died August 29th 2023 on his way to the emergency vet due to steroid medication this Kelly veterinarian clinic in Adrian gave him for his perianal fistula. Benny has had this disease for years and have put him on this steroid in the past but soon learned it was wreaking havoc on his liver. He lost weight, hair, getting sick and was not himself. So we quickly got him off that. This new staff put him on this steroid again disregarding my ex’s concern and argument that it caused him to be sick in the past. They told him there was nothing to worry about that it would be fine because the frequency and timeline would be shorter. It wasn’t fine. He started to lose weight and hair again so he stopped giving it to him, leading up to his vet appointment but it was too late. Our baby died because of this vets incompetence. Please choose a different vet office, I don’t want this to happen to anybody else’s baby.💔
Very knowledgeable and caring vet and staff . When they have to keep your baby they keep you constantly updated. Which I loved. I thought I had lost my baby , Billy Bob ,from a blocked bladder. They brought him back from the brink. This will always be my go to veterinarian clinic.
He is now back to his happy self and purring loudly.
Very caring staff in recent passing of two of my older pets, whom they cared for and treated. Especially recently when I brought my dog in to be euthanized (because of masses in her lungs that made it hard for her to breathe) and she collapsed on the floor in the lobby. Two of the assistants jumped right in and picked her up and carried her into the exam room. Everyone was so caring and compassionate at her passing.
Everyone is always helpful in answering questions I have about treatment or care of my pets.
I have new kittens that will be cared for here now, too.
Dr. McQuade always goes the extra mile to provide the best care for Izzy Belle. I am very grateful for all she does for Izzy Belle and all my furry little family. Kelly Vet has the best staff. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. Thank you again for all you do.
I have been coming here close to 20 years. My 1st dog was being seen by Dr Nancy Kelly until she retired where I selected Dr McQuade as the replacement. She took wonderful care of my Norton until the time came.....Then when we got Obie she took care of him as well. But Obie is a handful when he is being seen so extra steps have to be taken. I am more then pleased when I come in.They are always good to us.
We have trusted our fur babies to the folks at Kelly 's Vet for over a decade and recently had to say goodbye to one of them at their facility. The Vet and technicians were very respectful and compassionate with our family and our Dottie as she left this world as peacefully and painlessly as possible. Thank you, Kelly's vet.
I recently moved to Adrian from Toledo. Finding a vet is always hard for me because I have had issues in the past due to my 5 year old babies being Bully breeds. The staff here was great, caring and very helpful. Dr. McQuade is the best, we love her. She is so helpful, takes the time to talk to us and answer any questions or concerns. We recently brought a new puppy into our house and we brought him to Dr McQuade and are extremely happy with her help. She gets right onto the floor with him and plays with him making him feel comfortable. I'm glad I found them so I don't have to drive to Toledo to my vet there, for my appts.
We've been going to Kelly Vet for many years. We recently had to make the tough decision with our best friend - and the staff was amazing. They were very thoughtful and compassionate. Thank you for taking care of us while we were taking care of our puppers.
This is a very nice office. I recently had to put my cat down because of old age and health problems. They were super nice and caring even though I was a mess. They also have treated my other cat many times and wonderful as well. Definitely would recommend them. I drive 45 mins and it is worth it.
First exam after having her for a year and she was a breeders dog so she is unlike any dog I have ever had. They take their time and ask lots of questions so they understand things. Been going there for 27 years.
